When disaster strikes, first responders have a limited amount of time to rescue victims and save property. Responders must respond quickly and effectively.

First Responder Institute for Research and Education (FIRE Institute) is a nonprofit organization that was founded to help first responders get the proper training and tools to protect life, property, and the environment when disaster strikes.

Mission:
To build a reliable, sustainable, community-based emergency response system that provides consistent, timely, competent, and efficient service to all of rural Montana.
